November is PSBA’s annual business meeting where members get to elect trustees and officers. It is also our potluck dinner – so please bring a dish to share and join us for on Tuesday November 18th.. Doors open at 6, dinner starts at 6:30, business will commence at 7:30. Additional meeting info is here.
Election info: There will be 7 trustee positions open for election and 4 officer positions for PSBA’s board in 2015. We already have a great line up of interested candidates – read more about them here.
There’s still room for you on the board! If you have the interest and energy to get stuff done – and like to have fun- please consider running for a position on the board. You’ll want to review Board Member Commitments first. Trustee roles are 2 year terms but there are a couple of trustee positions with 1 year remaining in their term due to incumbents stepping down from the board or are offering their candidacy for an Officer role. Officer roles are 1 year terms.
If you can’t commit to a board position – consider taking on a special project or serving on a committee or help out with one or more fundraising events in 2015. These opportunities are less commitment of time, but still a great help to our community. Check frequently for all kinds of volunteer opportunities on our website!
