Join Puget Sound Beekeepers Association in protecting honey bees: Donate to PSBA during GiveBig this year!
The Seattle Foundation’s annual GiveBIG fundraiser is coming up on Wednesday. With their new initiative, Dollars for Change, your gift made BEFORE Wednesday, May 9th will make Puget Sound Beekeepers Association eligible to receive a $2,500 award per donor!
By donating during this pre-giving window, your support can go even further.
The Puget Sound Beekeepers Association is 100% volunteer operated with a focus on protecting honey bees and the welfare of beekeeping. We educate beekeepers and the public about the importance of bees to our environment. We offer ongoing training opportunities through our classes and apiary in the Washington Park Arboretum. Serving the Puget Sound area for over 60 years, PSBA has a long tradition of engaging the community. We have free and informative presentations each month at our general meetings and by participating in community events where we sell honey and share information about ways to help bees. We’re also working on ways to boost bee-friendly habitat. Since 2016, PSBA volunteers distributed free of charge over 10,000 packets of local wildflower seeds to children, classrooms, and the public so they may grow plants that support bees and other pollinators in our region.
When you give to Puget Sound Beekeepers Association through Seattle Foundation’s GiveBig campaign, you will support our work to protect honey bees and increase access to education on pollinators and beekeeping.
Please join us in protecting honey bees and supporting beekeeper education by giving today.
