Apiary Work Party – Sunday, June 6

The next PSBA apiary work party will be Sunday, June 6, 11:00-1:00. Leaders will be Kevin Gow and Laura Lovell (206-633-3577). Contact them for more information, or just show up.

The apiary is behind the greenhouses next to the Graham Visitor’s Center at the Washington Park Arboretum.

Bring your bee suit if you have one. Some protective gear will be available. Anyone who is interested will get hands-on experience.

    Is anyone welcome ? Even non-members? I have my own hives in West Seattle (moved them up from Tacoma) and would be a chance to get to know people.

    How many people attend the work parties? I’m starting the process of learning before getting hives next spring (started a little too late for this year) and would really love to attend the work parties for some hands on experience. I don’t have any of the protective gear yet so I’m hoping that there will be some available for me to use. :-)
